Am I a suitable candidate for this surgery?
The best patients are women who are healthy, mentally stable and well-motivated. What does the surgery involve?
An excessive part of labia minora is surgically removed under short general anaesthesia. Sewing is performed with dissolvable sutures, so that no suture removal takes place.
What type of anaesthetic is used?
Since it is a very sensitive and intimate part that will be treated, surgery is performed under general anaesthesia – in full narcosis.
How long does it last?
Surgery is quick, it takes ca 30 minutes.
What happens after the surgery?
Following this procedure, patients are usually hospitalized in our clinic until the following morning. If they however feel well, they can be discharged at their own request in the early evening of the surgery day. During the healing period there is a need for increased hygiene, frequent showers without using soap, and wearing a panty liner according to need. It is advisable to wait at least 14 days before you resume your sexual activites. In addition, we recommend to avoid for a month such physical activities that cause pressure on these areas.
Is it painful?
Although very sensitive places are operated, you do not have to worry about pain. The treated areas are slightly more sensitive for a few days after surgery, but this will soon get back to normal. This bit of inconvenience is definitely worth eliminating your complex.
